Back in 2020, right after I first learned how to look for sea slugs on floating docks from my friend Cricket, I came home to Washington buzzing with curiosity. I wanted to try it here but it felt weird and lonely at first. Then I met Jolie. She was the very first person to ever dock foul with me in Washington. Without her encouragement, I probably wouldn’t have kept going. She even designed the very first Docktober bingo card in 2021 and now here we are, still fouling and still celebrating four years later.

How to Play:

1. Go out and dock foul during Docktober.

2. Post your five observations to iNaturalist and/or Instagram.

3. Let me know when you’ve got a bingo!
